Our Journey: Crafting Building Solutions
Rendercon is a building maintenance company that initially opened in Sydney, Australia in 2010, led by Joshua Andersen. Coming from a third-generation background in contracting and business, it was inevitable that Joshua would end up running his own contracting firm, doing what he loves.
After successfully delivering the exterior system of the UTS building in Thomas Street, Sydney ($120 million build) and working closely with BVN and Durbach Block Jagger Architects, Rendercon quickly gained the respect of the Sydney market.
Joshua went on to deliver projects such as the Perth Airport and Jupiters Casino acoustic ceilings, management and installation of the facade system of the Bondi Gould/Hall Street apartment building, and the rain screen and seamless cantilevered soffit showpieces along the front of the Darling Harbour Events Centre.
In 2017, Joshua returned to his hometown of Wellington, building on the success Rendercon had achieved abroad. He joined forces with Sean Andersen, the other director of Rendercon Ltd, who has managed numerous large successful contracts in New Zealand over the last 25 years.
Rendercon cemented its worth in the construction industry, delivering over 30 successful building envelopes to date, along with numerous industrial roof refurbishment and flooring/membrane projects.
Collectively, Joshua and Sean have over 45 years of experience in the construction, project management, and building water tightness industries.
